800MHz FSB on a 845PE chipset

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of an 845PE board that can safely support the newer P4s. I can't really afford a dual channel board and RAM and I want to build a new desktop ( right now I only have a laptop). I've heard about the Abit BH7 and Asus P4PE boards having BIOSs that can support 800MHz FSB. I am wondering if these boards can really get them to run that high stable. Thanks

I have a P4PE, but I have not tried it out at 800 MHz FSB, yet.

If it were me, I would pay the extra $34 (Newegg, P4PE-X vs P4P800) and buy an 865 board. You get the next step up in chipset and official 800 MHz bus support. In the long run, then money would be well spent.

Im confused by all the different models of the P4PE, i've seen the P4PE-X, what is different about this model from the others???
