800 mhz athlon vs 1200 mhz mobile Tbird vs 1.3 Duron

I gave my brother my old athlon box to play the occasional game on . The specs:

750 mhz athlon set to 800 mhz
Epox 8KTA3 MB
768 MB Pc133 RAM
Geforce3 TI200 video

He has been playing UT2004 with us online and it actually runs somewhat decent. I have a spare 1.2 Ghz mobile athlon that needs a home and I was thinking of giving it to him. I also have a soare 1.3 Duron that I could stick in there too.

Question is, about how much of a perfrmace difference is he going to see in XP and games like unreal. ??

We are not wanting to buy anything right now since he is saving up for a new computer next year. I just want him to be able to use the chip if it will make a difference.

not sure about socket type for the mobil Tbird as I can't think back that far but that would be oogles better than the duron with half the cache. As far as performance gains that should do ~10%-15% better than the 800 if he has a decent video card

really?? so the mobile 1.2 spanks the duron 1.3 that much?

Tbird is unlocked too and should hit 1.4 with ease.
