is there any advantage to this over a (much) quieter 120mm? either way you have to duct.

I've got (and have used) several of these. They're FFB0812EHE, the "big brother" of the SHE (68.5cfm). The noise is ridiculous, but for maximum overclocks with air cooling...

Personally, I hope I never have to use one again. I'm quite happy with my 19cfm Papst units 😀

The only advantage is u'll know when the CPU fan failed w/o refering to any h/ware monitoring prog. LOL.
