Most people with mental issues do not want to deal with it. Even if they do the wait list is ridiculous. Maybe this incident will prompt the healthcare insurance administration to take the issue more seriously and buy more insurance on mental health.

Our singer payer system is an insurance program.

So you are done with my comment not being on topic right? I think it was pretty clearly on topic, and you now seem to want to talk about the health system.

Sigh... You are the one that brought on health system on an case that is ongoing and not all all clear yet.

I brought it up in the context that the current working theory by those investigating is mental health. I then brought up the system and the gaps it has, which, if it did not have might have been enough to get this person treatment. You then said to stay on topic. You are now talking about the system and getting into the weeds. Nothing of what you said shows how I was not on topic. No weeds you have pulled conflicts with what I said either. I am failing to see your original point, and your current point.

you wanted to talk about how to prevent a problem that has not been officially identified...also, I don't see you bitching at how inadequate US healthcare is on mental health in the waffle house thread, though that happened earlier than this.

Break it down in the US format big guy.
Do your own homework. But the fact remains that these cities are incredibly diverse and don't show near the same level of crime as occurs south of the border. You'll have to find something else to blame.

Hahahaha. One, you don't follow me as you can easily find where I bring up mental health in the US. Two, its also not hard to find where I say that the US system is inferior for many different things, including mental health. Third, those details have nothing to do with the situation in Canada. Forth, as I have said many times, mental heath is right now the working theory in the investigation from what has been leaked.

Why in the world would I bring up any other country on this topic? How was I not on topic before?

Irrelevant to the point I was making. Studies show that diversity, while likely being a net positive, brings with it negatives as well which include social frictions that lead to violence and crime. US as a country and its cities are more diverse when compared to Canada. So, if it is true that diversity bring with it more crime and violence, and the US has more, then it would seem likely that its a contributing factor as to the difference. Saying that Canadian cities are diverse does not change that the US is more.
