EDIT: see post 7 for information on the ending of the free gov't tests and how to still get 4.

Each household can order another 8 tests, making 16 in all.

Nice! Ordered. Got 14 now, used around 8. Never a bad thing to have around. When I go to the NJ office I always take one a couple of days later. Seems like that office is always sick.

I received mine today, the goverment must be having a hard tiime giving these away,

The tests they sent in January have an expiration date of 7/20/2022. the 8 I received today? 4 of them are dated 6/29/2022, the other 4 are 7/23/2022. What a waste of tax dollars.

Why a waste? Probably short shelf life mark so people don't sell them. If you think it's a waste then wtf did you order them? Derp.

Perhaps you can't read. Some expire sooner than the batch I got in January, others three days later. How would I know that before I ordered or received them? You're an idiot.

Home tests will stop being free from the government on May 11.

HOWEVER, if you haven't ordered any from them since December of 22, you can still order 4 until that date. If you still have some, check the link below to make sure the expiration dates haven't been extended . The original date on mine was 8/19/22. Now it's 5/19/23. It's been extended 3 times.

Check expiration dates and order kits from here:

Oh great. Now the USPS considers my address a business address. It was never a problem when I ordered tests the first two times. I guess they didn't take the hint from my apt. number.

The downstairs used to be a doctor's office but he remodeled it and moved in after retirement. His son (my landlord) would need to fix the issue with USPS and I'm not opening up that can of worms when I need other things fixed at the moment.

I could get them from the pharmacy but I don't want to run it through medicare if I can get it free from USPS.

Edit: It may not matter. My last order was December 15th. I tried sending them to my sister's address and it said she wasn't eligible since she ordered in Dec.
