Hah, and I thought it was cold in the Bay Area today...seems that 40 degrees is quite warm. We have it so good in CA...haha...
 
We normally don't have a problem with the cold weather, but you need to work into it. After being -30 for a while -5 seems downright balmy, but since its been 50; the 60 drop is not pleasant.

No silly, it's called "Climate change". Climate change means a change in the climate. A change in the climate has never happened until air pollution. Before air pollution, every day of the year was the exact same temperature and forecast as the previous year.

pshh that's still freezing, here in los angeles it's sunny as hell and in the sixties
 
Shoot...sounds like you guys got the high-pressure front that we recently had.

It hovered around -15 to -10 up here for the last few days.

It makes ~ 25 degrees feel like a heatwave (seriously).
 
Going to get down to 18 tonight in Central California. Record low on this date is 19. COOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDD

It's called a Front and Pressure systems (ie: WEATHER). I seriously hope that you were joking because that was one of the dumbest things I've heard in a LONG time.
 
At first I wasn't really concerned about Global whatever-you-want-to-call-it... but...

Since everyone on ATOT is an climatologist / environmental scientist in the wake of all the media coverage and talk about it, I'm kinda praying it's true just so I can post:
