The 8.0L (now 8.3L) doesn't have anything to do with oil capacity. That's a whole different spec.

Seriously guys, all the features were great until. Nice soud system, plush factory cloth, nice seatbelts, and I was told it was fast too!

But this is too much! 10 @#$ dollars every 3-6000 miles!

They've got to be kidding!

Oil capacity on the GTS was 8qts... if you can plunk down that much money for that car i don't think you should be worrying about how much oil changes cost... oh and i think you're crazy if you buy one of these as a daily driver. :p

You are thinking about buying a $80,000 plus car and you are disturbed about the cost of oil changes......

In my own defence, just because I hit 7 instead of 8 means I made a typo rather than know nothing about cars.

No way. It turns boost fluid into power by filling the combustive cylinders with oil. That's why domestic engines make more power; they burn more oil.

Frankly, if you dont know the engine displacement has nothing to do w/ oil then you dont deserve a fast sports car. Go get a Ford Taurus and then you wont have as many liters to fill w/ oil.

The W8 Passat took 10 quarts of synthetic oil. People were taking them to dealerships and looking at triple digit oil changes.

Doh!

Try the oil changes on the M5 (I assume the M3, too?) Specially-ordered oil you can only get from the dealer? WTF?

Either way I think 10 bucks in oil is a bit off for oil changes. If I had a Viper I would be putting some premo synthethetic oil not the stuff I can buy at the local quickie mart also I doubt oil filters are very cheap for a viper either so yeah uhhm 10 bucks is off.
