I am running Windows7 ultimate 64.

This process shows up in Task Master uses up a lot of processing power and seems suspicious.

Is it some sort of malware?

Without even researching it, it sure seems like one. I'd scan your system ASAP!

Executables with random names are often malicious.

On a known clean machine, download Avira's Rescue CD, boot off of it and scan your system.
