7VRXP or A7V333?

I'm trying to decide between getting the Gigabyte 7VXRP or the Asus A7V333 mobo for my new computer.

I have a few questions:

Does the Gigabyte have the nice POST functions of the Asus (i.e. tells you exactly what's wrong, if anything)

Does the Gigabyte have any kind of thermal protection for the CPU or anything like that?

What do you guys recommend overall?

No thermal protection on the Gigabyte.
The Gigabyte does have other nice features though. (USB 2.0, Raid, Dual BIOS)

It would be very rare for the heatsink to fall off, so I think the thermal protection is not really a requirement,
Although, it is nice to have.

My old Gigabyte board does have good post features, and is very stable. I havent crashed in 3 months!

The old board I am talking about is the GA-7ZXR rev 2.2 (KT133a board)

Asus A7V333 no doubt. Why? Stable, easy to handle, fast and most of all, I've always have good experience with them. :) Don't get me wrong, I've gotten a Gigabyte and Abit board before but nothing comes close to the Asus. :)

Defintely go with the gigabyte. With the Gigabyte, XP 2100+, and Radeon 8500, you are set for a sweet machine :D

I've noticed that as well, pretty much ruled out the GA-7VRXP from my purchasing options.
