I have a comp in my bedroom for internet and music. Everything is passively cooled except the PSU which has a Panaflo L1a. Here are the important heat-producing specs:
P2-450 on Abit BH6 w/massive CPU HS
Voodoo3 3000
Single platter Seagate 5400 rpm FDB HD
That's about the gist of it. It's in a midtower case and cables are folded neatly. Temps aren't really a problem ATM, but the L1a seems loud (on par with others, but loud in comparison to everything else not making a sound.
Anyone else put their PSU fan on 7v when it's the only thing circulating air? Ambient temps range from 65-80F or so.
