Hey guys,
I have a Gigabyte 7n400 pro MB along with a 2400+ CPU, OCZ pc3500 EL RAM and a Pixel view Geforce 4 MX 440 VGA .
When I try to work my system to 12x multiplier and 166MHz FSB, my AGP Bus is overclocked to 83Mhz which is quite a lot and my system gets unstable after a short period of time. I have setted the AGP BUS speed to 66Mhz through BIOS but for some reason it is not working! I tried to use Easy Tune 4 and managed to get the BUS to 66MHZ by using the divider setting, but it still seemed that it was not working properly. Are there any suggestions out there to lower the AGP BUS.
Since the CPU is unlocked for some multipliers with nForce 2 I intend to run my system at 10x with 205 - 210 Mhz FSB and I definitly need to fix this AGP problem (my system does not start with this setting). The CPU works for 10x multiplier and I have tested it with frequencies of 171Mhz FSB and below. But I'd rather run the system to its full potential.

Thanks in advance

Could have sworn NF2 boards had there own clock generator for the pci/agp bus? I think if it isnt locked by default, you should be able to lock it in bios, just dont leave the bus to auto, and instead set it manually to 33/66.
