I find a single 680 without SLI is smooth to 30 fps and I am finding SLI is smooth to about 45 FPS. So I agree that inconsistent frame rate is still present on NVidia. But its significantly better than AMD where anything below 60 or above 60 was near unplayable.

SLI and CrossFire is broken in design. As long as they use AFR its impossible to fix. They are mainly good for paper numbers.

As far as the inherent flaw the rest is matter of opinion as to what's its mainly good for, it has suited my needs very well, but still the same can be applied to PC gaming V Console gaming, non fixed components, incompatibilities.

And the Vid who uses multi GPU to play at 30fps, while that can happen with multi screen gaming, 30fps is not multi GPUs intended use and most people would be more concerned that they are only getting 30fps.
