Maybe you guys can help me understand - why does antonline sell it cheaper on eBay than its own store? Will it come with warranty since it is on eBay?

Because their store may not show up in Google searches but someone searching for 7950X on Ebay WILL see that they have a great price. Also, since they are not that well-known, buyers may prefer to buy from them on Ebay due to the buyer protection.

I understand why they want to list it on eBay for the customers reach, but why selling for more on their own site? And also there is at least a 5% eBay fees on top of that.

They might have a MAP (minimum asking price) agreement, as Antonline.com, but it could be more of a free-for-all on ebay. They may have just wanted sales.

Oh, I think you are probably right on this one. I am just worried AMD may not provide the warranty since it is an eBay purchase, even though it is an authorized reseller.

As long as you buy it from an authorized reseller, I don't think that they can deny your warranty just because you bought it off of an ebay listing, rather than through the reseller's own web shop. Save your proof-of-purchase, because ebay only saves it for two years back.

That being said, although non-zero probability, I've never had to return a CPU for RMA. (Although, I should probably have returned my Zen1 early-version chips, because they had a fault that they would reboot under continuous heavy load.) Oh well.

So, maybe there's a new stepping coming out, and they want to clear inventory of the initial stepping? Who knows, it's a possibility.

I did have an Intel 7900x that was DOA for me. Intel replaced it based on serial number.
