I just ran 3dmark06 and i must say im a bit concerned. First Dxdiag only sees my video as 512mb is that correct for this card? I thought dx sees it as 1gb. Also my scores of 3dmark06 were

SM 2.0 2541
HDR/SM 3.0 2962
CPU 780

FPS Test results
GT1 20.8 FPS
GT2 21.5 FPS
HDR1 30.5 FPS
HDR2 28.7 FPS

Im thinking its not running the other card right but in nvidas control panel its set for multi gpu card so idk whats wrong!! Any help?

Urmm of course, even tried beta and a clean install. My 3d mark scores are HORRID. I mean I dont really know what they should be but ive seen others with this card running far better marks. Im pretty mad to since i drop to 15 fps in most parts of oblivion and CSS and AAO my online FPS run lower FPS than my 6600gt top. Its very odd.

Any help?! I need your vets advice!

Are you running the latest drivers for the motherboard/chipset? Possibly, your board needs a driver update to fully utilize both GPUs on that card?

Well sadly those are the first things I did. Bios and motherboard chipset, this is not the answer. Something else is going on. Any clues. My bios and all drivers are up to date

could it be psu issues?
i've read that the graphics will still work, but be slow if the pci express power cable is unplugged or not giving enough juice

That's the way it always works. You send them a now used product, you get a used product in exchange.

urmm no not USED... REFURBISHED. Huge difference. My card isnt refurbed its just used. In any store when you buy an item and it breaks within 30 days you take it back and they give you a brand new one back NOT USED. So can someone please take the time to help me on this issue. My scores are pathetic! And i got the cpu upgrade as a vet here suggested. But he hasnt offered to help

refurbished doesn't necessarily mean broken. For instance, if you return your card, it may turn out to be nothing wrong with the card but an entirely different issue. Manufacturers deal with this all the time and most returns have nothing wrong with them at all.

Also...refurbished is nice in a way. It means it was tested individually to make sure its working. They are fixed/checked on a unit by unit basis.

As for your issue, assuming you have the power cables hooked up to the card, the graphics drivers installed, your chipset drivers installed and your BIOS updated. I don't see any other reason that you should have an issue. I assume your CPU is running at the correct speed?

Refurbished means the product was returned to the company for unknown reason, gone over by the techs, and parts fixed/replaced on the product.

Well I took the card out and reverted the chip on the mainboard BACK to NON SLI mode,
I have a 16x board not 32 so I was thinking that made it 8x. Then I put the card into the blue slot, not the black. I got higher marks, but still far to low to be considered gx2, also I read they overclock and you can get almost as much as dual 7900gtx's so im a bit shocked

any other helps? pretty please? :p

Do a project search for 3D Mark on futuremark's website. Select Athlon 64 X2 for 2.2ghz and 7950 GX2. The 7k+ score you got is perfectly normal for a non-overclocked system. You have nothing to worry about.

in the nvidia tune monitoring program my CPU is RED saying 1.5500V and cpu core ht link and memory start yellow then turn green for 2 seconds then back to yellow again rinse and repeat. Also i run 550mhz ram but its only going at 400! And the tune wizard wont let me change it, im gunna mess with it in bios. Why is the CPU red and the others flickering, are there better monitoring programs and ocing progies?

when I got to the nvidia control panel it shows voltage of all things but says N/A and wont let me adjust the voltage. When I ran sandra sisoft it said my voltage on the cpu was 1.33 something. How can I alter this. Also the ram is set for 550 and has been since i had the board. I manually set it in bios to do it, dont know if that means much but it says 550mhz on the ram in 3dmark06 system specs. Forgive me if you all feel im a retard, I already dont much like the tudes im getting from some posters. I opened a new topic becuase most places yell at you to make a new topic and not stray from the original topic. I did that and got yelled at sigh. All things aside hope someone is still willing to help. I have overclocked the gx2 590/1340 and im not getting the 4000 mark scores I should be getting im barely getting 3k on one.

Thats the OC at 590/1340 when it should look more like 3900 for 2.0 & 4000+ for hdr 3.0

Also I found a progie called Clock gen and it says my cpu is only 1927.30 thats only 1.93hz? is that right for an X2 4400+? and yet my ram is set to 275.33 XD as for the voltage I dowloaded an amd voltage meter and it says 1.35v so idk what to believe lol.

Ok, I did a project search with the exact same CPU and video card you are running on Futuremark's website. Your scores are better than this guy's. There's nothing wrong with your video card. I don't know why you're freaking out over your 3D Mark score. It's what it should be.

Edit: I saw your other thread. You really shouldn't compare your scores to a benchmarking site's score. Do a project compare on Futuremark's website to see what scores you should be hitting.
