7950GX2 Compatibility Concerns.

I alredy know that buying a new motherboard is the best solution, but resolving issues with the existing one is free. I have a Gigabyte Ga-8I955x royal and installed the EVGA 7950gx2, the initial boot without the drives was fine. After I installed the drivres and reboot, It gets the blue dead screen from windows, you never get to the desktop in the first place.

I am pissed and confused. I havent tried it with the newest bios and by installing the nvidia drivers directly from the website. (I heard rumors that the drives at the evga CD doenst work)

who knows if it will work this time?

Anyway, In case I donr resolve the motherboard problem, wich motherboard should I get:

? Asus P5W DH Deluxe
? Asus P5B-E
? Asus P5B Deluxe
? Gigabyte GA-965p-s3
? Asus P5N32-Sli SE Deluxe

Try safe mode and wiping the drivers with Driver Cleaner Pro. Then, go to Nvidia's website and get the newest ones.
