7950 vs 7970

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I'm planning to upgrade from a radeon 6850. I have a 1080p monitor and I'm not sure if I should pay the extra $100 for the 7970. Will the 7950 be enough for my gaming needs? I will also be upgrading to i5 3570k and asus P8Z77-V mobo. I will be playing games like Bioshock infinite, tomb raider, skyrim, and far cry 3. I would like some advice. Thank you.
