ok, ill start by saying that this is my 1st time messing with a computers internals.
i5 4670k
msi z87 mpower
680W psu
8 GB 2133mhz Gskill sniper

I ran this setup while I found a good card, so it works with.
I added the msi TF3 7950, and unless im doing something so wrong, other then putting the card in, adding the 6&8 pin connectors and then powering it on. the fans spin windows 8 starts to load, the power on I thought it was strange that it looked like it went from 1080p to a lesser resolution due to the icons looked bigger a bit blurry like the old days, but I thought it might need driver updates, signed it(im excited I wanna play far cry3 on a high setting) getting to the point at 1st it crashed at gave me an error like equal_cpu_ something looked it up and said it was when your proccer overheats witch I don't think applies to my rig since ive ran it for about a month before the card, now after I sign in the screen goes black and doesn't load anything, what do I do?
I forgot the exact error msg im sorry now I don't even get it, after I sign it goes black

no, after the login it loaded up the norm then crashed almost 5 secs after.
I spent all day yesterday back tracking or trying different things, it doesn't sound like a normal issue. so annoyed

I bought a ssd and came with windows 7 ultimate installed
ill try that and see how that goes, I don't think it crashing like that is normal?
ive seen many how to install or build a pc on youtube, and this never seems to be an issue, how do I find out why its not working ?

did you uninstall the previous GPU card drivers & device in Windows before shutdown and install of new GPU card?..

no, I only had the integrated graphics using and I didn't think those would matter or idk where/how id do that
on another note windows 7 has not crashed yet, though when I ran the windows index I got a 1.0 in graphics since it does not recognize intel hd 4600 yet, since I have not downloaded the driver im guessing?
so I should remove that? on my windows 8 pro hhd?

ill just say that the W7U test seem to be going great
I did the windows index again, this time it registered the card after the amd driver updates im guessing since I got a 7.9 graphics on 7
I ill try and delete the intel hd graphic drivers and hope to hell that works, im so relieved right now
thanks for the missing detail
