Hello, I'm new to this forum tho I like to read it from time to time, mainly about Vega and Polaris, since forums like Toms Hardware are full of people who talks much but doesn't know much, my first post!
Anyway, I bought some time ago a second hand GPU, it has worked out fine for about 6 months but a couple of months ago it started working weirdly.
When I boot, the boot even before the BIOS startup is really slow, like a couple of minutes slow, compared to 10 s in which it boots without the GPU connected and getting the signal from the mobo to the display.
Sometimes it boots fine but just before the Win 10 login screen it hangs. The weirdest thing is I can play any game fine (outside of Dota 2, that thing crashes with the iGPU or the dGPU, some issue with my CPU probably), but I ran Wolfstein, Alien, Doom, Witcher 3, all fine in my GPU once it booted, the problem is mainly the boot time.
Any help would be really appreciated, I got the 7950 out to test it on a friends machine for now, if it's an issue with mine.
My specs are:
i7 5775C
8 GB RAM
SANDISK 480 GB SSD
GA z97n wifi mobo
Dual X 7950 Boost 3 GB
