Performance is a mixed bag. Not an undisputed champion but some games clearly prefer the V-cache a lot.

The only deterrent to going AMD on laptops for me is the la ck of options for who makes them. I just stated looking into AMD again and it's disappointing when it comes to OEM options. It's either DIY or avoid some of the options. For laptops though I like Clevo and in the pas they did have a couple of AMD builds but, nothing recent. Maybe with the new CPU models they'll ramp things up again. I just don't feel like paying companies marketing budgets in return for a sub par HW setup or over priced "upgrades". With Clevo I can shave hundreds off the cost by going barebones and adding my own stuff to the chassis.
