I am thinking about upgrading, and was wondering which will be the better card for future games. Most people say that they are equal, but does the 7900GT have any special stuff that the 7800GTX doesn't?

7900 GT is slightly better, though they are mainly equal.
However the 7900 GT does have some very impressive OC'ing head room.

The 7900GT has faster clocks, smaller die, and lower heat.

And it costs less too.

Get the 7900GT.

If you already have a 7800GTX, don't bother. If you don't already have a 7800GTX, then get the 7900GT.

Does anybody know yet if the 7900GT can OC well? Or is it too early?

EDIT: I have a 6800GS.

Yes it can.

You can hit around 550/1550 using that shite stock cooler.
No one knows yet how well it will OC with an aftermarket VGA cooler.

you can probably hit higher with the stock cooler if you're lucky. however, companies are weeding out some of the good OC'ers for their OC'ed versions. But just so you know, xfx's highest stock is 560/1650, with regular stock cooling.
