7900gt to x1900xt

do you guys think it would be worth changing from the 7900gt to the x1900xt. Currently I am running my EVGA 7900gt at 580core and 1720mem. Runs most of my games at 1280x1024: BF2, FEAR, CoD2, Oblivion just fine. I know the x1900xt is faster and the pic quality is "better," but will I notice and see the difference? Guess the 512mb will be better for future games. The other thing I can do is the volt mod, is that reversible? Any input is appreciated.🙂
 
At that resolution I'd say stick with the 7900 GT. I don't think it would be worth it to upgrade at this point.

The volt mod will void EVGAs amazing warranty (I'm not sure if it ruins the Step-Up program too).
 
For your resolution you're fine with what you have. If HDR+AA and HQAF are a strong appeal to you, then it's worth checking out the x1900xt. Otherwise you're fine with what you have.
