7900gt to a 4850

cod4 is sort of lame with 7900gt. would it be worth the upgrade to a 4850?

what resolution are you at?

i remember i had a Athlon 3200+ with 7900GT top
1280x1024 with medium to high setting, i still good reasonable framerate.

however, i am thinking to move to 4870 and play the game again at 1680x1050.

i can play reasonably at similar settings, but would like to take it up a notch.
i fall into the eye candy catagory.
