7900gt sli v 7950GX2

Ok, this topic has been broached now and again throughout the posts, just want to get everyone's opinion in one place, what do ppl think bearing the following in mind:

A 7950GX2 performs (very slightly) better than 7900gt sli
Uses less power than 7900gt sli
Is the same price (for me anyway)

However, if I did get the sli, I could voltmod both 7900's - what kind of performance increase should I expect with 1.5v or higher?

does it really use less power ?
anyway to look at performance increase a voltmoded 7900gt can have 7900gtx + speeds but with only 256 mb its a bit less than a true 7900gtx. so just look at 7900gtx benches and know the performance of the 7900gt volmoded sli will be a bit less. but still much faster than a stock 7950gx2
