7900GT reporting as PCI-Express X2?

When I am looking at my video card properties, for some reason it reports the bus as PCI-Express x2... shouldn't it say PCI-Express x16? I have a DFI Lanparty Ultra-D (non-SLI) and an XFX GF7900GT.

If the board isn't set to SLI mode, the bottom slot only has two lanes allocated to it while the top slot has 16 allocated.

haah wups I've been running my X1900XT in the bottom slot pretty much since I've had it. I ran it at in the top slot for awhile but the mobo's chipset HSF is sorta blocked with the Accelero X2 on there so I moved it. Is all I need to do is switch all the jumpers or do I have to actually do the "SLI Mod" to it?
Obviously I don't need SLI with an ATI card but can I atleast make each slot have 8 x?
