I just bought an MSI 7900GT , HDCP video card off of for sale forums.

I put into a brand new built, with all new parts - the only used part was the video card.

Since hooking it up to my dual monitor setup(via DVI), it has not been working correctly The monitor on the right freezes and lags when opening any window. It does not fully recover from sleep or screen savers, it freezes, etc. The monitor itself loses signal and regains it when moving windows from one screen to another. Sometime the monitor will freeze up.

I switch the DVI plugs on the monitors to make sure its not the LCDS. But the error still happens on the right side. This leads me believe its either the right DVI IN on the video card or the drivers.

The Nvidia drivers from their site NEVER worked, only the MSI drivers off of msi's site.

What else can I try. Is there some sort of card diagnostic i can run?

UPDATE 1
I've tried both DVI and Analog on both monitors yet the same problems still happen.

UPDATE 2
I've tried both ports on the card, using a BOTH monitors ( A total of 4 tests) and I get a good result. It's only the dual monitor setup that causes problems.

UPDATE 3 I tried to run 3dMark06 to test the card out since I couldnt find any sort of diagnostic. It made it to the like the second fighting scene, then there were huge black blobs, and the FPS dropped to 4. It froze and then i got the following error:

IDirect3DDevice9:: Present failed: Device lost(D3DERR_DEVICELOST)

UPDATE 3 Ran orthos for 8 hours to see if maybe the board, processor or chipset would give out or show any problems, but it came back perfect - temps at 43C under load.
