7900GT or X1900XT

I recently bought a 7900GT for $250, but I can still return the 7900gt and buy an x1900xt for $285.
Is it worth the effort ot return 7900gt and get the x1900xt instead?

Yes, the X1900 will give better graphics and almost always outpace the 7900GT.

I think you first need to look at your PSU and case cooling. The X1900XT draws a tremendous amount of power and runs very hot when compared to a 7900 GT.

It definitely out performs a 7900GT, but at a price.

Yea it's not even close in terms of performance once you overclock the X1900XT to it's fullest potential.
