7900gt or 1800xt?

sohuld i get the 7900gt or the 1800xt? both can be had for the same price right now, does the 512 mb really make a difference? i'll be running it on an oc'ed 3700 and 2gb of ram

games i will be playing on: oblivian, quake 4 , cod2, bf2, wow, nfs:most wanted

x1800 , 43535 thread on this subject, usually nvidia fans go on about how ati cards are noisy etc but the thing is - 7900GT is as noisy as a x1800, since the x1800 is faster and has more features, what advantages would the 7900 have? overclockability?

Requires less power by a big margin, easier to use/install control panel/drivers, less heat, TR SSAA/MSAA, LCD sharpening technology to get rid of ghosting, SLiable, single slot, OCable to 550~ mhz on core or more.

X1800XT better IQ, FSAA+HDR, Overclockable as well so there is no point in saying the 7900gt can be oc'd since the oc'd versions are $30-$60 more expensive. The X1800XT can be had for $289+shipping 256mb. Better availability. The power isn't that big. THe X1900XT is a huge power hog but the X1800XT isn't bad. Not saying the 7900gt is bigger. But it's not huge imo. Just use ATT instead of CCC no problems.

25&30mhz WOW that's amazing... lol

If your going to get the oc'd version atleast get something with a good oc imo.

As before the X1800XT is the better deal imo and it's cheaper.
