I read that eVGA has a bios update on their website but it's not their, I looked. Has anyone else figured out a solution to this beyond RMAing it.
 
yes, you have to call them to get the file.......i have the file......but it wont find my floppy drive! ill send you the file, if you can put it on a floppy disk then send me the files back 🙂

they have it set up so that you click the exe and it creates a bootable floppy, but stupid thing wont find my floppy! even though the floppy works fine.
 
I got the file from them if you still need it pm me your email and I'll send it to you. It worked for me, with the bios flash mine now reads 500/1500 as advertised. eVGA said it was a bad flash at the factory and sent me the file. Saved me a RMA🙂
