7900GS Overclock

I just got a PNY 7900GS, and I was wondering how far I could overclock it?

Should I just keep raising the specs (by a few MHz each time), until I start to see artifacts in benchmarks? How do I know when high is too high?

Also--in the rare event that I ruined the card, would the warranty give me a new one? Would they know that was why?

What I was really asking was "how" do you overclock a video card?
Using software? What software?
How do you know when it's "as high as it should go"?

You can download coolbits and OC through the Nvidia control panel or download ATI Tool or RivaTuner.

Yeah, coolbits is probably the easiest way. Let it test your card and it will give you a reasonably safe overclock.
