7900 maximun resolution

does any1 kno the maximun resolution of a 256mb 7900GT because my monitor requires 1680x1050, will a single 256mb 7900GT be able to support this because someone say they only support 1680*1024

The 7900gt should be able to handle whatever your monitor can do short of 20x15 and higher (atleast playable)

what do you guys mean by 20x15 and 19X12?
also i checked all the 7900GTs on newegg and most were Max Resolution 2560x1600 and some were 2048x1536@85Hz

You'll be fine with a 7900GT

I am using a 7800GT with a 1920x1200 and it does fine.

All of the 7900 series have 2 dual-link DVI outputs.

That means both DVI ports could push TWO 2560x1600 displays.
