I'm quite certain there's a solution for this little predicament. As of now I can feel my monitor burning rays through my cornea due to the brightness. If I lower the brightness during regular browsing, BF2 becomes incredibly dark. Where's the median ground?

I want darker regular viewing.
And brighter BF2 viewing.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Not for brightness, that was the first thing I checked :(.

On another note, Nvidia Control Panel takes freaking forever to load.

Hmm...I think I figured it out. I started messing with my monitor a bit and there was a different profile that no longer makes my eyes feel like they're imploding. I'll give BF2 a go tomorrow and report back. Thanks for your help!

I think you can also make profiles and set them to start with certain programs.

did you also set the IQ to high quality, as opposed to the default quality. When it's set to 'quality' it can cause that glary brightness that it sounds like your experiencing. try setting the image quality to 'high quality' and see if you still have that problem.
