7900 GS AGP to be released??

I have money in hand right now to go on newegg.com and buy myself a 7800gs refurb from EVGA.

However, I just caught wind of a 7900 GS that will be released onto the AGP platform? Is this true?

If so how much is it going to go for? I have $230 at the moment - what's my best choice?

I haven't heard anything about it, but it will probably be about $300.

chexk out gainwards site...they have a bridged 7900GT disguised as a 7800 AGP somewhere on their site.

Yes but the big question being is it a 7900GS PCI-E @ $200 or a 7900GS AGP @ $200?

Yes thats gainward's version but it's nowhere near $200. I guess there won't be a 7900 release afterall.
