7900 AGP?

So everyone said it wouldn't happen, but many of us have seen them with our own eyes - yes, the 7800GS.

How long before we'll get our HDR-capable, SM3.0 7900 in AGP without having too many pipes disabled?
 
benchmark shows much higher minimum framerates in numerous games though

and i really think the agp segment is slowly fading out.....

I agree. If ATI decides to make another AGP card then nVidia might make another as well. But if ATI walks away fromt the competition then there is no reason for nVidia to try and one-up ATI again.
 
nvidia is cashing in on the now so called niche market we call AGP

ati i think will let it pass, as they dont jump into the niches as fast as nvidia does... they usually wait (think x800gt/o/o2)
