I mean, it's written by the professor and it's only available in the campus bookstore-- and they're already raping the wallets of us students, so why not get some chump change on the side, eh? Ugh, I hate beginning-of-the-semesters.

It's a little late for doing that I think. Since, ya know, I already bought the book, there's no way I can get that money back-- and most people in the class I know are gonna be too lazy to give me $10 and let them photocopy my book.

Lots of people just buy, photocopy and return. Save about 50% by having a copy shop do it for you I think. I've been too lazy, and it's nice to have a hard cover and occasionally colour. I'll be down about $400 in a week buying books for new term, fug.

TAKE THE INITIATIVE! Make a few copies and take 'em to class to sell, in front of the professor.

I took logic last year and they wanted ~$70 for a little logic workbook as well.. but luckily the prof wasn't a douche and had a bunch of copies on reserve in the library for us.
