I have a 1GB Sapphire 7850 I picked up from NCIX for $164.99 - $50 Gift Card I received, so a pretty nice deal for the level of performance offered.

I'm at 1225/1325 at 1.225v and am scoring just under P8000 overall in 3dMark11 with a 2500k @ 4.5GHz

This is the 3rd 7850 I've owned, the first two being Asus DCII 2GB Models I got at launch. They would go up to 1.3v.

Now I don't want to go to 1.3v, but 1.24v would be nice.

Afterburner (with Eula and Unofficial mode enabled), GPU Tweak, Trixx... all have the same 1.225v Limit.

Is there anyway of going past this limit? I take it this must be something new or particular with the 1GB Model? Or a Sapphire limit?

This card I think would hit 1300 core with more voltage, so I'm curious to see where I can push it.

Bios limited, varies based on vendor. My Sapphire was locked at 1.225 max also.

Well that sucks.

Is there any unlocked bios's that you know of? I wasn't aware of the limitation.

The box its in is only 1366x768, and at 1225 core I was able to play Sleeping Dogs Maxed out completely at 60 FPS, so its more than enough, but I'd like to see how far it will go.

There was an ASUS bios u could flash to unlock the limit but meh... not worth it, an extra 50mhz at most for crazy vcore.
