7800gtx with 512mb

Well, you always can use the PNY Quadro 4500 512MB card for $2,000+. 🙂

Better yet, two of those bad boys in SLI . . . 😀

I think a 512MB 7800GTX would cost around $650 MSRP with street prices probably around the mid to high $500s . . . which incidentally is exactly what the 512MB X1800XT is priced at . . .

Actually, the MSRP of the X1800XT is priced lower than that.

We dont know what it will cost, or when it will be out.

CM, you keep giving this date out but you never give a link to back it up. Are you just guessing here? If so, you probably should say so, otherwise you're just misleading people.

If you're buying a new high-end GPU now it's definitely a good idea to go 512 MB. Games like FEAR and CoD 2 love the extra memory.

BF2? not sure about Fear though. (its only the demo, and even monolith say its going to perform ALOT differently than what we are seeing now).
