7800GTX or 6800GTH

In some applications 7800GTX = 6800GT in SLI
But that is usually in very high resolutions.

I dont belive you can go wrong with either.
 
Only when were talking 1600/1200 AA Af enabled. When you put them together at 1280/1024 with slight AA, the difference is small. However, its with this generation's games only. I have no Idea how the next generation games will be on the 6800GT and the 7800GTX.

If you have a 7800GTX, why would you be running in anything LESS than 1600x1200 with AA/AF??

So yes, a single 7800GTX will destroy a 6800GT. For example, in BF2 at 1600x1200 with 4XAA/High settings, the 7800 gets you 69 FPS, while the 6800GT gets only 32.5. (Benchmarks)
