7800GT questions

I'm planning on getting a 7800GT PCIe x16 for Christmas. Looking on newegg, they all run around $300-$350 so I was wondering if there's any difference in memory speed between the IHVs? For example, does one use 2 ns ram and the other 1.6 ns? And what about type of RAM? Do they all use GDDR3?

Lastly, do all the 7800GTs have the TMDS transmitter on-chip so the 2D quality will be the same? Is the on-chip split and used for both connectors (for the 7800GT) or is there another TMDS transmitter used for the other port? I noticed the VGA connector on my current 6800 outputs subpar contrast compared to its DVI.

As far as I know all 7800GTs use 2.0ns RAM, except the Asus Dual EN7800GT. This one uses 1.6ns RAM clocked at 1200mhz. But good luck finding it. If there is any question of specs, newegg links each item to it's site of origin. Review the PDF, and purchase what you need.

I'm not sure about the TMDS transmitter.
