The benchmark is a bit skewed because they're using an overclocked XFX 7800GT. The XFX card is clocked at 450MHz core and 1050MHz memory. You'll have to take these benches with a grain of salt due to the overclock. However, the overclocked form won't deviate from the stock cards that much, IMO. The benchmarks are very promising with the 7800GT tying or beating the X850XT PE at just about every benchmark. Even with only this mild overclock the 7800GT only trails the 7800GTX by a very slim margin when considering frames per second in the FPS benches. At this price point there's no need to buy a 6800 Ultra.
The 7800GT's MSRP is $399. Newegg has six in stock at the moment. Each of those is retailing at $449. Still a decent deal considering the 6800GT's were retailing at a similar price point when they were introduced last year. Here's a link to the cards at Newegg.
