i bought a 6200LE so i could run 4 monitors, and i figured since my motherboard supports SLI it would be able to run 2 different cards at once, but it isnt working. i switched the jumpers on my motherboard, which btw is a DFI LP NF4-D, from SLI to normal and it still doesnt work. both video cards work individually and both slots on the motherboard work, but windows wont even detect the 6200LE when the 7800GT is in as well. they are both powered up right now...i can hear the fan on the 6200LE. the whine is new since i added the card, so it is powering up but not outputing video.

any suggestions?

son of a bitch...it looks like DFI boards have to be equiped with DXG, or dual xpress graphics, to use 2 different PCI-E cards. that sucks!

So it's only the plain NF4 chipset that doesn't support DXG? I have an Ultra-D and was thinking of adding an additional cheapo PCI-E card to drive a 3rd monitor.

How about using a plain PCI video card?

i think thats how it works...it says on the website the ultra versions support it, which i guess is what you just said. i ended up adding a PCI video card like you suggested. i cant believe i found one sitting in the closet
