I can't seem to find much on the 7800gt benches.... i just ran it and got 12525.
It seems most of the benchies popping up on 3dmark03 are 7800GTXs :(
That seems a bit low since I got 1110 with a 6800gt on a 2.8ghz P4

I have Athlon64 3200+ stock
pny 7800gt
dfi n4 ultra-d

Hmm i'm sure you have some more juice in that card my friend  It's hard to believe that your 7800gt 3dmark03 bench is fairly close to mines o_O

i'm not sure that he has the pro version

That shouldnt matter, he can set it through the nvidia cpanel.
There is definately something wrong with your score since I got around 14k on my oced 6800 GT

If that BF2 avg fps is without aa/af then my 6800 GT gets just as much if not more.

Ran FarCry last night... when it was running, it ran well
1600x1200 4x/4x all details maxed out. 70fps indoors 35fps outdoors 25min fps during firefights.

For some reason it kept stuttering and it froze a couple of times.

oh well, i'll do something else tonight, maybe HL2

You have adequate power to the card, right?

Hmmm.... I get about 16,500 in 03, so something is up here IMO. And I would think that FC should run much better. If my HD's come into today, I will install it and let you know. The little Raptor doesn't have much room ;)

It certainly should not be freezing, however. Their is an issue with your setup, no doubt. Have you tried the 77.77's? Have the latest chipset drivers installed?

LOL, 12K?

I match that score with a NU, GT, or U.

Then again, it's just a bench.

Anyone live in Santa Barbara? Care to help me out? haha, I don't have the time needed to really get into trouble shooting this, it was hard enough just getting the damn DFI board running.

That is pretty low.. I got 11450 with my system. I hope it's just your card and you can get it fixed cause I just ordered a 7800gt! But I do only get 4850 in 3dmark05.

I haven't had time to benchmark the other games, but I reinstalled the video card drivers and played at 12x9 resolution all settings maxed 4x/8x AA/AF and i never dipped below 30fps

It might be a bit low, but ok...

My friend's 3000+ @ 2.4 w/ BFG 7800GT OC (stock factory) 425/1050 got 14925 on a test run. No tweaking, justinstalled drivers 3dmark and bam.

I think you might be a little slow....

My 3700+ @ 2.75 RAM @ 9/10 divider and BFG 7800GT OC 425/1050 got like 15300 or something on its first run. My tweaked run at 2.85 RAM @ 1:1 and 7800GT @ 470/1200 got me 17,300.

Also 3DMark 2k1: 31949. I think 3D Mark 05 was about 7.7k. I need to go dig up my OC notes (some of which are at home). I only have my CPU/RAM OC speed notes right now, not any benchmark notes.

Anyways, I'll give 01/03/05 a try soon once I get this 24/7 stable stuff sorted out.

It seems that 2k1 really needs that L2 cache to get those kinds of scores, I only get about 27,500 @ 2.7... I suppose memory bandwidth helps too...

I recently ran 3DMark2001 and was getting only 8600 or so with my 6800U with 4xAA and 8XAF which I knew was bogus because my other Machine with a 9700np @300/300 was getting 10450 set at 4xAA 4xAF.

I uninstalled the NV drivers, cleaned out everything I could with Driver Cleaner3, and re-installed the latest WHQL NV drivers and now my score is back up way over 15K at same settings.

Funny thing was all my Q3 timedemo (OpenGL) tests were nearly the same before and after.

6500 is about right for 05 according to xbit labs autumn review.

they get nearly 14k in 03 and about 6.5k in 05

and i only get about 9.5k with 7800gt sli
