When I'm doing something on the main monitor , the secondary monitor flickers. I don't know if it's because this card is having trouble keeping up with both monitors or not.

I've been running the drivers that came IN BOX with the card. I can't remember which version now. But I've updated to the latest drivers from the Nvidia Website , and it didn't seem to help the problem. Both Monitors are Compaq V70 running at 12x10 at a 75hz refresh rate. It's always flickered on the secondary monitor , but it's finally gotten on my nerves and I can't take it anymore. Usually when I game I shut the secondary monitor down , sometimes I leave it running to run my Motherboard monitor , and system monitoring utilities , but not so much lately. I decided to play Doom 3 yesterday as I haven't played it in a while , and I had all of the settings maxed out , and it would almost freeze when a door would open. Or I turned quickly. I don't know if playing it at 10x12 with 16xAA is the isue with my system , I think I used to play at 1024x768 with a lower AA setting I honestly can't remember , and since I mostly play GuildWars , my system hasn't been really stressed to do anything. It's been over two years since I set up this machine , could I benefit from a reformat , and a clean install?

Are you running them in "Clone" mode? What drivers do you have now? I'm still using 84.21 and I'm not changing until I get a new card : )

I used to get some strange flickers at times too, but my secondary monitor is a TV running off the composite output of a 6600gt AGP. When I changed it from Clone to DualView the flickers went away. The TV still flickers when I open the nVidia Control panel though.

No I'm not cloning the main monitor , I'm using dual view. And yes , when I open the Nvidia control Panel. Both Monitors flicker. I don't know what it is , surely my system has enough resources to be running what I have.
Could my power supply have anything to do with this? Not getting steady power to the card , along with the other devices?

No, I don't think that the PSU is what the problem is. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that we are both using AGP cards? Any PCI-e users care to weigh in?

Maybe having fast-writes enabled, or side-band addressing has something to do with it.

I actually started to think maybe the card was defective. But hearing that you are having the same issue makes me think this isn't random.
I would think that this card would need the fast writes enabled to make full use of it's bandwitdth , but then again , I don't know! Just a little thing that is starting to finally drive me nuts.
