Anyone know why the AA setting goes from 4x straight to 8xS and skips the above options?

Also, in order to use supersampling do I have to force AA in games?

I never had a 6xS option but you can use RivaTuner to get it. No, games can enable supersampling on their own, I think. But maybe not ones today...
 
So if I use the AA in BF2 and set AA in the control panel to application preference then I'm just getting the standard AA and no supersampling correct?

Not sure if I should force AA/AF or use the in game setting?

I'd like to know this too. Currently if I turn AA off in BF2 but "force" it through the driver, I get no AA at all ><
 
I use a program called nHancer that gives a lot more control over application profiles than the nvidia control panel and allows you to use the other supersampling modes.
