So i bit the bullet and ordered 2 of these and an AX860 PSU.

Its a Lite Edition which is fully custom card with no factory OC.

It has a Dual bios with unlimited power target... Not sure if it has Voltage control yet though..

Who wants to hazzard a guess at the max OC? :)

I'll guess 1325 on one, 1375 on the other. :)

Enjoy, lightnings are fun cards.

Wait a minute, a Light Edition? Does it have voltage control, or is it what is marketed as the "gaming edition" in the US and not even the actual "lightning"?

In that case I'll guess 1230 and 1280.

I was told its the same card without a factory OC.

The GTX 780 Lightning LE is equipped with all the stuff you can find on non-LE edition, including: GPU Reactor, Digital PWM Controler, Dual BIOS, 16+3 phase power design and Tri Frozr cooler.

I also got it £20 less than the cheapest website online and same price as the MSI Twin Frozr gaming with standard PCB

Just pray to the videocard gods that you don't get one or both with Elpida.. Also, the Skyn3t bios and rbby tool is a must if you want to extract the most out of them. Mine does 1320Mhz @ 1.2v rock stable.

They did the same thing with 680 Lightning. I had one Lightning and one "Power Edition," I flashed it with the Lightning bios and it ran fine. You could prolly get a 780 Lightning bios at Techpowerup, or the dude here who has one (can't remember his name) :)

I find ram does very little to performance after 6000mhz. Im sure i can squeeze it to 6500 or maybe 7000 like the Ti if im lucky.

Ill be back to report tomorrow night when i get back from work! :)

Then you haven't pushed you core hard enough  Scaling past 1250Mhz+ with only 1650Mhz on the memory is horrible. The GTX 780s needs and loves the additional memory bandwidth when they are being pushed hard.
