no links because its not true. There's no way tha MS would cancel xbox this early in the game... too much money invested to do that.

Plus the report said that Halo for GC was announced on 4/1/02... i didnt hear anything about this... i'm sure this would have been plastered on every news site if it were true.

I'll bite... sure I'm an xbox owner and yeah I'd be a bit peeved if this were true... but... realistically speaking I doubt this will happen this soon in the game... i would say the same thing if this post were about Nintendo and Gamecube...
 
I have just spent a hour searching the web for some kind of hint of this, and from what I can see the only thing that is going to happen is the price is set to go down soon to help sales. The games are still being developed and from what I can see the XBox is alive and well.
