This is my first time on these forums, so first I would like to say hello to everyone!

I am currently using Intel socket 775 DG33BU with E8200 CPU, but sadly this board offers no CPU overclocking capabilities. Can anyone suggest a worthful, yet not very expensive upgrade to replace my current board (preferrably an ASUS mobo)?

Thanks in advance,
Vent :)

I've used an EVGA 750i SLI FTW and it's a pretty awesome board. (especially for overclocking) I got mine from EVGA B-Stock for about $50.

Pretty much anything from a decent manufacturer with a P45 chipset will be what you want. IMHO, i'd avoid the nVidia boards as they can be finicky with overclocking.

Are going to ddr3 or trying to re-use your ddr2?

I just got this Asrock board and 8gig of ddr3...

If you want to keep the ddr2 then here is the ddr2 version...

Lots of overclocking options and been stable for me so far.

crap, I am late to the party and these boards are gone... looks like the 775 boards are drying up really fast lately..

Anyone have any new recommendations?

What parts do you have right now that you will re-use? i.e. like CPU, Ram, power supply, etc...

If building from scratch and trying to save money go with a AM3 AMD setup. The only reason to get a 775 system is if you have a good 775 CPU already and other parts you are reusing.

I have an e5200 processor and 2gb of ddr2 ram (2 - 1 GB sticks). My power supply is good, add on cards for more sata ports are good, and I have a firewire card that is good.

I have an ASRock dualcore-4sata board with a nice hd3850 agp video card.

The motherboard is getting flaky so it is time to upgrade to a new board and a new video card as well (sadly no more AGP motherboards).

Thanks for the help.
