What you guys suggests? I already have x850xt agp on my agp gaming rig (which was really great). Now having a new pc with a pci-e slot waiting to be fitted with the bad ass card (in a good price) is the time. Since the dell 5150 special form factor is limited to certain kinds of cards, I'm looking at a 7600GT pci-e atm. Although 7900GT looks nice...

Should a grab a 7600GT soon, or wait to save up for a 7900GT (and a new psu.more money) to get a nice bump of improvement?

I would like to play @ 1600x1200 later on. Is that possible?

I dunno lol

You'll probably want a 7900GT if you plan on playing at 1600x1200. My 7600GT isn't very happy with Oblivion at 1280x960 with medium-high settings + tweaks + no AA/AF, and that's just the first of big games coming out this year that will be very stressful on GPUs.

Here are some benchies to give you an idea of where a 7600GT stands on a fairly good system:

7600GT @ 580/1500 (stock) w/84.22 XG drivers
Opty 144 @ 2700mhz, 2x512MB Mushkin @ 225mhz 2-3-3-7
3dmark05 - 6156
3dmark06 - 3132
1024x768 4xAA/8xAF in game settings
CS:S - 149.4fps (three run average, max details)
Doom 3 - 70.5/65.9fps (high/ultra, demo cached)
Far Cry - 70.23fps (ultra details)
FEAR - 26/44/100fps (min, avg, max, max details no soft shadows no volumetric lights)
1280x960 4xAA/8xAF
CS:S - 116.58fps
Doom 3 - 49/46.7fps (1280x1024)
Far Cry - 60.54fps (1280x1024)
FEAR - 18.5/31/71.5fps
1600x1200 4xAA/8xAF
CS:S - 76.22fps
Doom 3 - 36.4/24.3fps (256MB video limit?)
Far Cry - 44.10fps
FEAR - 11.5/21/46.5fps

You'll definitely want a 7900GT for 16x12 :)

Sure, eVGA is a great brand. I've been happy with their cards (7600GT & 6800NU) thus far. Good warranty to boot, although XFX's is somewhat better depending on how you look at it.
