Read something earlier about dual/single-link DVI connections, which got me to investigate my card's specifications and found something I'd love someone to clear up for me.
I have a BFG 7600gt, and on the website and googling it says:
Connector(s) 1 Dual-Link DVI-I, 1 Single-Link DVI-I + HDTV
However, upon investigating the rear of the card, there are clearly 2 Dual-link DVI-I ports. I've never noticed the supposed difference until now, and just picked one in connecting my monitors (currently Dell 2407 ~single-link DVI-D cable). Performance wise, my setup is fine either way, whichever works. Still, could someone please help point out which port on the card is the "1 Dual-Link DVI-I" and which is the single? Or is this all internal as in if you connect 1 Dual, it'll eat all the bandwidth and not work with a second?
Thanks.
