7600GT DDR3 256MB vs 6600 128MB DDR2 - How much diff For graphics, photoshop etc?

The title and summary says it all, will there be a noticeable difference in anything other than gaming?

The 7600GT had dual DVI (which I was not going to use any time soon), the 6600 has one DVI and one VGA (doesn't matter to me).

For Graphics, Yes you will see a very good performance increase.

Photoshop is more CPU and RAM dependent though, a new GPU won't help loading/filter times much to any at all. However, CS3 supposingly will take advantage of the GPU when it comes out (currently beta), but as it stands now you wont see much of a difference in CS2 or lower.

Thanks. I need some money right now, so I'll just downgrade for now and maybe upgrade again later.
