7600GT Canada availability

I've been searching all the shops in Quebec (they have warehouses in Toronto and BC) and no one have 7600GTs in stock and no one can give me a date of availability. It is very frustrating.

I don't want to order from e-tailers, my 2 last cards (9800PRO and 6800GS) I had to RMA them because they were defect. If I had bought them in Quebec, I would have get a replacement right away.

I don't want to spent more than 300CAD (taxes included, which is around 260CAD) for the card, so what would be a good alternative for gaming?

And if it was not enough, my copy of Oblivion arrived today and I can't play it !!!

NCIX actually had a sale a week back with the EVGA 7600gt on sale for only $199. I was about to get it, but then factored in the shipping from Vancouver to Ontario( cost (and online ordering. After shipping, shipping insurance and possible RMA costs to ship to and fro, it didn't seem like such a good idea.

When you factor in that you only pay gst and not pst, you really cant loose. Shipping is basically free, i only paid 7 bucks for shipping my 7900gt. But saved $32 in pst taxes.

I was actually about to just go pick one up at canada computers, but it looks like they're price gauging so screw them. I'm really trying to get a normal evga 7600gt, but no one seems to have one. Going hunting tomorrow🙁.

I got one a week ago to replace my new and heatsinks falling appart ASUS 6800GT and I'm quite impress with this little performer. Worth the 80CAD less I paid compared to the 6800GT. 😛
